A permanent team of nine
There are now nine of us at Daems Pilot Service. All regulars on the team, all with the necessary experience and the right papers in their pockets. Each has his or her specialty and we are well matched. This is important, especially when we are on the road with your exceptional transportation. We know Europe’s road network and bottlenecks like the back of our hand and know our way around local legislation and civil service.
The right people for every job
Within the DPS team, we have different roles and specialties. Our helmsmen are in control – literally – of the course of your exceptional cargo, while our escorts ensure a smooth movement without obstacles. Of course, we can support or replace each other where necessary, so even in unforeseen circumstances, your job is in good hands.
David
In addition to being a driver at DPS, David is primarily a truck driver of the beautiful Scania. He is licensed to drive his truck all over Europe. As a accompanist, he can be deployed in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. David also takes care of all necessary route surveys and permits. He speaks NL – EN- DUI- FR
Andrea
Andrea, along with Nick, is in charge of the day-to-day supervision of the accompanists. And is co-director of DPS. In the office, she handles scheduling, administration, billing and payroll. Occasionally, she still rides along as a accompanist. Andrea speaks EN – CZ – EN
Nick
Nick is co-director of DPS along with David and Andrea. He is primarily employed as a accompanist and attendant and when he has time and does not have to drive, he helps Andrea with the planning and day-to-day management of the accompanists. In the fall of 2023, Nick hopes to be certified for Germany after completing the BF3 course. Nick speaks NL-DUI-EN-CZ
Jef
Jef is an active wing and tower section helmsman + accompanist at DPS. Jef has BF3 pass and his car (Marie-Jeanne) is equipped with BF3 board. In addition to Germany, Jef may also accompany in Benelux and France. Jef is a very quiet person and can always be found for a joke or an interesting chat during the ride. He speaks NL – EN – DUI- FR
Robin
Robin is one of our regular accompanists for Benelux and France. Even though he is not a conversationalist, Robin is a friendly and spontaneous guy with tremendous road knowledge. He passes on this knowledge to new colleagues who are under his wing during their internal training. Robin speaks NL – FR – EN
Douwe
Douwe is active as a wing and tower section helmsman + accompanist at DPS. Like Jef, Douwe possesses BF3 pass. Douwe is a native Dutchman and knows Holland through and through, which is very helpful during his coaching and steering. In addition, he can also accompany in France and Luxembourg. Douwe speaks NL – EN – DUI – FR
Julie
Julie is very sociable and will accompany your transportation from A to B with a smile on her face. Right now you can encounter her in Belgium and Luxembourg, but in the fall of 2023 she will go on a Dutch course, and with that she hopes to join the men on cross-border trips. In addition, she has French pass already in her pocket. Julie speaks NL – EN – FR – DUI
Brent
Brent continues to develop and learn every day at DPS. He has a quiet personality. One can find it in Belgium and Luxembourg. Hij spreekt NL – EN – DUI
Luc
Luc is the newest member of the DPS club. As of September 2023, he is accompanist for Belgium.
